Reads: Jan. 16-22

Last week was a tough week. Not a lot of energy. Lots of sleep. Not a lot of reading.

Managed to finish:

She Loves to Cook, and She Loves to Eat vol. 1 (Japanese and English edition)

Ganbatte! The Japanese Art of Always Moving Forward by Alber Liebermann

The Book of Ichigo Ichie by Hector Garcia and Francesc Miralles

this one wild and precious life by Sarah Wilson. I read most of the book, but I do add nonfiction books I’ve decided I’ve gotten enough of to my finished reading list.

Still on the reading list:

The Red Notebook by Antoine Laurain (started and then stopped but not dropped)

わたしの1ヶ月1000円ごほうび (adult comic essay-Japanese edition)

Forget Me Not by Ellie Terry (middle grade fiction)

I Didn’t Do the Thing Today by Madeleine Dore. I own this book on Kindle. I started reading it when it first came out, but then stopped for some reason. However, I picked up the physical copy from the library as I did like the book so that’s why it’s listed here. I’m going to start over reading it as I don’t remember a thing about it.

Permission to Feel by Marc Brackett. This is also book I started a while ago and stopped reading.

New editions to my read next pile:

Linked by Gordon Korman (middle grade fiction)

The Uncommon Reader by Alan Bennett. I was surprised at the tiny size of the book. What a relief though!

The Hidden Life of Trees by Peter Wohlleben

Dropped

Quit by Annie Duke. I like the topic, but the more I flipped through it the more I lost interest.
